AMAZING!!!

I stopped in there today and everything was fantastic. The woman was very helpful and very friendly. I'll be going back for all of our holiday party cakes.

what a cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a cake at a birthday party and was hooked ever since. The chocolate buttercream icing is unbelievable!!!!!! My favorite kind is the plain pound with the chocolate icing. We never order a big enough cake because we never have any left over. So glad we found a bakery that sells great products. they never let us down. The store is so cute and spotlessly clean. Everyone that works there is so helpful and pleasant. What a find!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These ladies know how to bake. Their cakes and cupcakes are amazingly flavorful, sweet enough without being overbearing, and have an amazing, moist but substaintial crumb (I don't love cakes that have such a light crumb that it doesn't feel like food in your mouth). I don't normally love banana (but I like it), and tried their banana cupcake today. Wow. Besides their obvious skill with a cake recipe, the icing was really masterful, again, sweet enough and with enough banana flavor to highlight rather than obliterate the cake. This skill is typical of all of the goods I have tried. Their apple strudel sells out often, so order yours before they run out. The texture is unbelievable, tender yet slightly chewy crumb, beautifully executed apple filling (and I don't love apple filling). Order your birthday or special occasion cake from them as well. I am trying a birthday cake for my one year old tomorrow. Doing everything I can NOT to eat it before the guests arrive. But that is what the banana cupcake was for :-)

The only place to cake!

Whenever there is an event that calls for cake or a slew of baked goods Sophisticakes is our first and only stop. Even when my wife is baking a cake for a get together (and she is a fabulous baker) she will order up some cup cakes or pastries from Sophisticakes, just to round out the selection. We are partial to their carrot cake but all their goodies are delicious!

Best Cake EVER!!!

I just had my birthday and my sister brought a cake from Sophisticakes. I don't even like cake that much (compared to candy & cookies) and I have been DREAMing about this cake ever since!! I will not buy another cake from anywhere else.
