OUR MISSION

We at SophistiCakes love what we do and we have fun doing it! Scratch baking with the freshest and finest ingredients is all we do. Whether it’s a delicious dessert for two, or an elegant wedding cake to serve 200, we make it look and taste amazing.

In the very near future we look forward to expanding our present location. We will be starting cake decorating classes and parties. Our new space will also include a new wedding consultation area. In the not too distant future we hope to open a second location, and start shipping our goodies coast to coast.

Kathy’s love for baking and creating delicious desserts started at an early age with her mom in the family kitchen. Years later she developed her famous pound cake. In 2003 she and her husband opened SophistiCakes in Drexel Hill.

Devoted customers come from all over southeastern Pennsylvania, south Jersey and Delaware for her delicious cake, cupcakes and treats. Recently she and her team won several awards including Best Of Delco’s Best Wedding Cake.
