Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:34AM The staff at Sophiticakes are truly very lovely and very professional..I ordered a cake for my daugher;'s wedding that had everyone in amazement..the decorator did a fabulous job..the taste was so good..people are still talking about the wedding cake.I truly recommend them to anyone I know who wants a great cake..They are truly one of the best bakeries I have dealt with..would like to thank them again...

Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 10:35AM I ordered a sheet cake for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I called on a Wednesday to have the cake that following Saturday - hoping it wouldn't be an issue since some bakeries want a least 1 weeks notice for special orders. It wasn't an issue. The only decorating instructions I gave was that it have Elmo on it. I had no idea what to expect when we picked the cake up...it looked fantastic! I couldn't have been happier with the look of the cake. And more importantly, it was delicious. It was 'thinking about this cake in the middle of the night' delicious. A few of our guest commented that it was the best cake they ever tasted. I highly recommend this bakery. We will definitely be back...DELICIOUS!

Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 10:22AM Such great cakes... I did two show-stopping cakes for my Husband's Big Birthday Bash. The cakes were the stars of the show. Everyone at Sophisticakes was so helpful and easy to work with. One cake was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting - so beautifully decorated people took pictures! The second cake was a vanilla with butter cream and chocolate accent. The decoration was so creative: little screw drivers, wrenches and bolts (my hubby own's a garage and is a masterful mechanic). I resolve...nothing but Sophisticakes from this day forth!
Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at 10:28AM I followed the recommendation of several friends and tried Sophisticakes for my daughter's christening cake. And Im glad I did. The cake and icing was delicious and gained multiple compliments from guests. The bakers followed my vague directions of "pastel colors and nothing too over the top" perfectly to create a beautiful cake with a tasteful cross and small flowers fitting for the occasion. Both on the phone and in person the staff was friendly and accommodating and you can see in the store that the baking and prep area is very clean and organized. I will continue to give my business to this local bakery for all my future events. Its my first mothers day this year so Im going to have to find a way to convince my husband that a cake from Sophisticakes is the perfect way the celebrate!
