We recommend that you serve your cake within 24 hours of pick-up. Leftover slices (if there are any!) can be thoroughly enjoyed for several days if kept in the refrigerator.

If you are planning to serve our cake more than 24 hours later, we suggest refrigerating the cake until roughly 2-4 hours before serving. Our buttercream icing tastes best at room temperature, so allow enough time between the fridge and the plate.

During the Summer months, and in places that room temperature may be higher - we recommend refrigeration even for cakes served within 24 hours. Simply allow less time from fridge to plate.

*Also note that our cake freezes very well. If the icing is currently soft, allow it to harden in the fridge, and then wrap the whole cake well (several layers) with plastic wrap - right around the board. Then put it in the freezer.
